Golongan Darah B

  Pemilik golongan B diizinkan lebih banyak menyantap makanan
hewani maupun nabati. Tubuh orang bergolongan darah B memiliki kemampuan mengolah
bahan makanan nabati maupun hewani dengan baik. Anda adalah pemakan
segala. Jadi, bersyukurlah bila Anda selama ini penyuka daging sapi, domba,
kambing, atau kelinci, karena kebiasaan itu bisa Anda lestarikan. Namun
waspadai ayam, karena kaya lektin yang mudah menggumpalkan darah pemilik
golongan darah B, sehingga meningkatkan risiko stroke dan serangan jantung.

  Bisa dikatakan semua ikan dan hasil laut cocok bagi golongan darah B.
Namun waspadai kepiting, lobster, udang, kerang, scalop, remis, tiram, kodok,
belut, yang berlimpah lektin. Yang terbaik bagi golongan darah B adalah ikan
laut dalam, seperti ikan salmon. Hanya golongan darah B yang bisa
mengkonsumsi susu dan hampir semua produk susu, kecuali blue cheese dan
es krim. Sebab gula primer dalam antigen darah golongan B adalah Dgalaktosamin,
sama dengan gula dalam susu. Telur ayam organik atau ayam
kampung boleh dikonsumsi, namun hindari telur puyuh dan telur bebek.

  Minyak zaitun bisa dikonsumsi lebih banyak, sedikitnya sesendok makan
per hari. Hindari minyak kaya lektin yang bisa memicu diabetes pada pemilik
golongan darah B, yakni minyak wijen, minyak jagung, minyak biji bunga
matahari, minyak kacang tanah, minyak kedelai, minyak kelapa. Batasi
konsumsi bahan baku minyak tersebut, di antaranya kelapa, santan, kedelai,
kacang tanah, biji bunga matahari, biji labu, wijen. Kacang mete dan pistasio
juga termasuk kacang-kacangan (nuts) kaya lektin, yang harus dihindari.
Kedelai dan produk kedelai, termasuk tempe, tahu, dan susu kedelai, bisa
mengganggu produksi insulin dalam tubuh pemilik golongan darah B, karena
bahan makanan tersebut kaya lektin. Demikian pula dengan kacang merah,
kacang tolo, garbanzo. Namun bagi kita yang sudah terbiasa makan polongpolongan,
gangguan yang ditimbulkannya relatif kurang, kecuali bagi orang yang
sensitif.

  Terigu dan makanan dari terigu kurang cocok bagi golongan darah B.
Kandungan lektinnya akan tertahan dalam otot, yang memperlambat sistem

  Pemilik golongan darah B rentan terhadap penyakit autoimun (akibat
gangguan sistem kekebalan tubuh) dan akibat serangan virus. Untuk itu, penting
mengkonsumsi banyak sayuran hijau, yang umumnya kaya magnesium.
Waspadai lobak, tomat, dan jagung - termasuk jagung muda untuk sayur bening
atau perkedel jagung, karena dapat menurunkan metabolisme dan membuat
darah lebih pekat. Pada orang yang sensitif, banyak mengkonsumsi lobak,
tomat, atau jagung dapat meningkatkan risiko stroke dan serangan jantung.

  Semua jenis buah baik bagi pemilik golongan darah B. Anda hanya perlu
membatasi buah kaya lektin, terutama kesemek, delima, belimbing, pir. Bagi
